Happy Grandparents’ Day!

Olivia is blessed to have wonderful grandparents, and she loves to make things for them.  Today we started by reading two books – one about grandmas, and about grandpas – before making our gifts.  I love crafts that use children’s handprints because I think they are an adorable way to see how much the child has grown from year to year.  This year, on one side of the card, Olivia drew a picture.  On the other side, we made a handprint card and used double sided tape to tape a Hershey Kiss into the palm.

On the side of the card with the hand, I wrote out the poem:
I’m sending this sweet kiss your way,
To wish you a Happy Grandparent’s Day!

All of Olivia’s grandparents loved their cards!
