I just can’t get enough of summer, so we are adding one more summer craft. Today we made our own paper aquarium using a paper plate, blue construction paper, fish coloring pages (found online), plastic wrap, scissors, a glue stick, tape and stickers.
First, Olivia colored the fish. While she did this, I cut the center out of the paper plates. I also cut the blue construction paper to be the same size as the paper plate. Once she was done coloring, I cut out the fish that Olivia had colored. While I did this step, Olivia added stickers to the paper plate. Next, Olivia used a glue stick to attach the fish to the blue construction paper. I finished the project by taping the plastic wrap to the paper plate, and then attaching the blue construction paper to the back of the paper plate making it look like an aquarium.
