Before the start of September, I wanted to give Olivia one more summer craft. Since she enjoyed visiting the aquarium so much this summer, I thought that it would be fun to make a colorful turtle. Here are the materials that we used for our turtle:
- Paper Plate
- Paint dots
- Green construction paper
- Black marker
First, Olivia used the paint dots to cover the paper plate. While she did that, I cut a head, legs, and a tail out of the green construction paper. I added details to these body parts using a black maker. Once Olivia was done with her paint dots we let it dry. Later that day, I helped her to tape the head, legs and tail onto the turtles body. The result was a very colorful turtle!
