Chase’s Party Favors

On June 20th I posted about the Puppy Paw Prints.  Today I turned these Salt Dough Paw Prints into adorable Christmas ornaments.  Chase will be 11 years old on Saturday, and we are going to use these as party favors for Chase’s birthday party!

Here are the materials that I used to make the ornaments:

  • Salt dough paw prints (from 6/20/16)
  • Photo of Chase
  • Heart shaped cookie cutter
  • Scrapbook paper with paw prints
  • Modpodge
  • Scissors
  • Black Ribbon
  • Snowflake Ribbon
  • Hot glue

First, I traced the salt dough paw print onto the scrapbook paper, and then cut it out.  Next I used the modpodge to attached the scrapbook paper.  Then I used a heart cookie cutter to turn the photo of Chase into a heart, and attached it to the scrapbook paper with modpodge.  After that, I added another layer of modpodge to the top.  Finally, I added the ribbons.  I hot glued the black ribbon around the edges, and tied the snowflake ribbon to the top of the heart to make in an ornament.
