Tasty Easter Bunny

img_2090One of our favorite things to use in our crafts is food!  Today Olivia made an Easter Bunny outlined in marshmallows.  Here are the materials that we used:
– Pink construction paper
– Marshmallows
– Pencil
– Googly Eyes
– Yarn
– Marker
– Craft stick
– Elmer’s Glue
– Small Paper Plate
– Pom Pom
First I drew the outline of a bunny face onto the pink construction paper.  Next, I poured some glue onto the paper plate.  Olivia used a craft stick to put glue onto the outline of the bunny and then put marshmallows on top of the glue.  This step img_2091img_2092is great for developing fine motor skills!  Olivia loved snacking on the marshmallows while she did this step.  I was impressed at how well she could stay on task while she was doing this part of the craft.  After completing the outline of the bunny, Olivia glued on googly eyes, a pom pom for the nose, and yarn for the whiskers.  Olivia then insisted on adding a mouth, so I gave her a marker to use to draw the mouth.
