Big A, Little A

img_1829 img_1830Olivia’s been doing pretty well identifying capital letters, so I figured now would be a good time to introduce lower case.  The timing worked out great since Dr. Seuss has a book called Dr. Seuss’ ABC, which shows both capital and lower case letters.  After reading the book, we played a matching game.  Here’s a link to the cards that we used:

We only used 5 matches for today’s game so that it wouldn’t be too overwhelming.  Olivia had fun with the game – except for when I made a match.  We’re still working on learning to be a good sport!
