Every Wednesday, Olivia and I attend a Mommy and Me class. We have a great time learning some beginner ballet steps, and have met some great friends! Olivia loves to practice her dance moves that she has learned, and loves her teacher. Since the holidays are approaching, we wanted to make a gifts for Olivia’s dance teacher. After some searching on Pinterest, I found a gift that I know that I would enjoy receiving – a mason jar of Peppermint Hot Chocolate.
I found this recipe at cincyshopper.com/diy-peppermint-hot-chocolate-in-a-jar-gift-with-free-printable-labels. Here are the ingredients that you would need:
– ½ cup Powdered Milk
– ½ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
– ½ cup Sugar
– 1/8 Tsp. Salt ¼ cup Chocolate Chips
– ¼ cup crushed Candy Canes (about 3)
– ¼ cup Mini Marshmallows
The site included printable labels, but I decided to make my own since I wasn’t sure if the teacher would want to make all of the hot chocolate at once. After we put all of the ingredients into the mason jar, Olivia loved attaching ballet stickers to the outside of the jar to give it a personal touch. She was so proud of her work, and I think it game out super cute!
